Benjamin Timoner - 2,671 Mile Walk for Pancreatic Cancer

So, it's no longer November - but that doesn't mean Pancreatic Cancer Awareness ends. I'll still be wearing my purple ribbon every chance I get and talking about it to anyone who will listen.

That said, here's a very cool story I found today. It tells the tale of Benjamin Timoner, who set out Christmas of last year, and walked 2,671 miles to Myrtle Beach, SC all in the name of pancreatic cancer awareness and research. He finished his walk today at 2PM. Along the way, he even suffered a heart attack, which set him back for a few months - but this didn't stop him. How inspiring!

Benjamin's father was taken by pancreatic cancer at the age of 41, when Benjamin was just 5 years old. He decided to start his walk when he would be one day older than his father “got the chance to be.”
